Finally!

My 3/4" A. seemanni sling that has been shut in its burrow for over 4 months finally molted. Is that an extremely long time for an Aphonopelma or any sling to be in premolt? I hope he/she digs out of its burrow so that I can feed it.

That does seem like a long time to be in premolt, but with Aphonopelma everthing seems slow.

The same thing happened with my A. hentzi. It turned from pink to grey and stayed like that for 4 months in its burrow until it finally decided to come to the surface and molt.
