Don't worry, just give her a little time to settle in, she will be fine.

she has decided she likes us

However, I dont know if my other cat will be accepting her any time soon-now, she hisses at ME if I even get near her, and that is without Tootsie, the kitten.

The new kitten is a threat to the first cat's place in the household. First Cat needs a lot of attention to be reassured she is and always will be First Cat. New Kitty should get less attention from the humans (to the point of being ignored, even) when First Cat is around. No wonder poor First Cat is upset - didn't see any pictures of her posted here. (BTW, New Kitty is adorable.)

I tried...

but Teensy (first cat) shredded my hand to almost ribbons when I tried to pet her. So, I am letting her hide until she gets used to the idea.
As for pictures...:)

Thanks for letting us see First Cat. :D Best to respect Teensy's mood and keep hands off. But tell her she is the most beautiful and smartest and most loved cat ever in existence, and offer her special delicious treats (that Intruder doesn't get) and those gestures will go a long way in helping in her decision whether or not to accept the little one.

I have 5 cats (down from 7, as cat lives are way too short), most of whom dislike each other. It's fascinating to watch their interactions with each other. I couldn't live without them - joy of my life. Two of mine were feral and another was "unadoptable" at the Shelter due to vicious tendencies. Main thing with cats is to never attempt to punish, rather look for behaviors to applaud.
