Well I've owned my pair of bloods around 9 months, the male has always fed (used to strike now just drop feeds, IMO it's because I handled them a lot) the female has NEVER drop fed, she struck about three times but I literally had to slap her about with it and eventually gave up as I felt it was terrorising her even more into not wanting to feed, so I left her and kept offering her or leaving it to no avail, so I've been assist feeding her for the last 6 months as she very nearly starved herself to death and left me with little choice, and today she finally took her VERY FIRST meal without any outside influence (unless you count bumping the temps up and covering her up with a towel whilst she ate) but a feed is a feed, feel like a proud father, I'm ecstatic! Wasn't looking forward to forcing a small rabbit into the mouth of a 6ft long 20lb snake anyway... ;)

Cool! I have a normal BP that I have been trying to shift from African soft furs to frozen rats to no avail, so I feel your pain on tricky eaters.

What worked for me was

Warmed her ENTIRE enclosure up by putting te whole thing over the heat mat and let her get nice and hot
Dampen a little
Thaw the rat in a bag to retain smell
Remove with tweezers/tongs as not to get smell on it
Dip the head for a minute or so in boiling water
Drop it in with her and IMMEDIATELY cover her RUB with a dark towel
And leave her alone silent

And bam came to check she was eating it,
