anything in the Rubus genera, raspberries and blackberries mostly (feed just the leaves only)

PS ~ they are thorny

All my sticks eat blackberry leaves. Just cut off a little sprig and stick it in a little container with water. Be sure the container has a lid (so they dont drown).

toxic leaves

Is it true that the young leaves of oak and bramble are toxic to stick insects? I can't remember where I heard that, but there are only young leaves around here right now, so should I hold off on getting my stick insects until the leaves fully mature??
