Feeding slow downs in winter?

Just curious if others experience a slow down in the feeding behaviors of their adult and sub-adult T's during the winter months. All of my big girls have gone into their "fussy eaters" mode this past month. I wonder if this is related to the change in temperature in the house or something else that the T's sense with the changing seasons.

I have no doubt about it. T's metabolisms are pretty much entirely determined by temperature. Lower temperatures, less feeding. Some temperate species may slow down regardless of temp.

Kind of a relief, really. It's the season when I can look foward to spending a little less on crickets (herps slow down too).
