Feeding Schedule for a Mexican red knee sling

so happy with my little guy (not sure if it is a guy actually). but never had a baby before - how often should i feed? schedule right now is approx every 3-4 days - 6 when he molts (3 times already) growing like a weed!!!!!!

Your current schedule is fine. With slings I tend to just feed them til they stop eating, then remove the food when it's refused. Want them to grow as fast as possible til they start showing some adult coloration or reach about 2" then slow it down. Less risk of dehydration and they become large enough to use a water dish. Great choice of tarantula! One of my personal heartfelt favorites.

Yeah, it's a good schedule you have.
I have a B Smithi sling also, along with a B vagans and a B Albo!
And a GBB and OBT, love them all.
Can't wait to see one of them molt!

My redknee's feeding schedule is apparently once per purchase. I bought him/her in September and she's eaten exactly one cricket since. She molted about 10 days ago and still shows no interest in food. Really disappointed/concerned with mine, glad to hear yours has a better appetite.
