Hello Arachnoboards,

I know this is a newbie inquiry but...
I picked up this B. albopilosum on 5/21 from a local shop. Unsexed with about a 3'' legspan.

I am waiting on his enclosure to arrive in the mail - which should be here tomorrow or Friday.
He supposedly fed last Thursday - not sure what, but I believe a roach.

My question is; should I feed him now/before transferring him to his new enclosure or not?
(I know T's can go a long time without food, but his abdomen does seem small to me...)

Thank you in advance for the help everyone.

If I was you then yeah I would offer food.. if doesn’t eat it then just remove it. Just make sure has water available.. as you said they can go without eating for a while so don’t worry if doesn’t eat... I always offer mine food when in new enclosure aswell, some eat, some don’t straight away.. I like to think they might be happier knowing there is food about in new home, but they prob don’t even care lol.. beautiful t by the way

You can offer food but it's not critical.

Is it a mature male ? Hopefully not.

Thank you for the help everyone.
As we speak/type now, "Tuco" is feasting on two large crickets.
I do not know the sex. It does not appear to be a mature male - I will post more pics of its underside later when I rehome it which will hopefully be tomorrow.
