My blue ring centipede just had another clutch, this was a surprise, months and months after having only one surviving baby. I have been dripping water in there to keep her hydrated, however I was unsure of when to feed the mom again. The babies are white, very active, and she is clutching them with her legs. I don't want to disturb or stress her or the babies. What should I do? Wait to feed her till they get a little older? Thanks in advance!

I've had about a dozen clutches and i've never actually fed a mother nursing babies... I like the ''let her be'' idea but if there is a way of feeding her without having her leave the babies, i'd love to know about it :).

i feed sometimes and don't feed sometimes

the only time it seems like maybe it was bad was i fed a mom bluering when she had eggs and a week or so later she ate the eggs. i don't think i have ever seen that pede lay eggs again so it is entirely possible they were duds

i have fed bluerings, yellow legs, and tons of tigers when they have babies and no bad has come of it aside from ^

it seems more ppl do NOT feed than feed, though. especially a lot of the skillful euros

i think the babies might actually be able to eat at that point

i have stolen babies from mom's and raised them seperate at that point and they were fine. and i do think they can eat... not positive though
