I have a trio of Green Lynx Spider (Pucetia Viridian's) slings. From the best info I can find most people keep them communally until they become well established juveniles.

I keep all three in a 32 oz deli cup and they tend to stay on the lid. I have offered them fruit flies, but they seem afraid of them, and I don't think they've eaten any. The flies are about the same size as the slings with some being slightly larger.

I kept them separate in small condiment cups for about a week before putting them together in the larger cup, with much the same result. Their current enclosure has a small amount of substrate with a branching fake succulent to give them an elevated surface aside from the walls of the cup.

I've noticed that they tend to use the succulent to spin their web perch, but when there are fruit flys in the cup they move to the lid. To my way of thinking this is confirmation that they are scared of the flys.

Is there a feeder that these slings would do better with? They are the tiniest little slings I've ever seen. I wish it spring or summer and I could just catch some gnats for them, but it is what it is I guess. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can feed springtails or micro crickets. I would definitely separate them - although the risk of a brother serving as food is low, it is not impossible and it is also less stressful for each individual. You can also check who ate when.
