I've been wondering if there are any small insects that are easy to breed as feeders. By small I mean less than an inch. Anything besides fruit flies, their culture rots too quickly.
An inch is pretty small. Most crickets fit that description.
But for a feeder colony, Blatta lateralis are quite small, even when adults. But yea, you can use their nymphs too as they are not given to burrowing the way many roach nymphs are.
