feed Black Lace Weaver with egg sac?

hi everyone
I have quite a story to tell about Ms. Hacklemesh, Amaurobius ferox, but need a fast answer first.

She has an egg sac and I don't know if she feeds during this time. Her first one was eaten, not sure if by her or a feeder I had in there. I'm assuming, she doesn't feed.

I'll tell her story later with pics.

in general mother spiders may eat the sack if conditions aren't right, if it is infertile or simply if they are disturbed.

They can eat while they gard the sack but since disturbing them can be a case for abandonment many people choose to only feed them after

what ist best? i do not know

probably depends on the individual situation and your spiders disposition
