I was wondering what is your favourite tarantula genus? For me it is Ceratogyrus and Harpactira, i do really like african T's.

Psalmopoeussssssss - Beautiful, fast, full of just the right amount of insanity, good eaters, beautiful webs (maybe a little reclusive). And those fluffy legs are the best.

I have 4 Ow but no arboreals. They seem just too skitish for me. I guess it is part of the fun :)). Would love to get a P. Irminia and a Cyriopagopus sp Hati Hati in the future.

Psalmopeous, Nhandu and Avicularia on the NW side...Poecilotheria and Ormythus on the OW side.

I've only been in the hobby for about 2 months and only have NWs, but out of the ones I have my favourite so far is definitely Xenesthis.

There isn't one genus that I like WAY more than the others. Some favorites:

Brachypelma/Tliltocatl
Grammostola
Phormictopus
Acanthoscurria
Nhandu

Poecilotheria, Ceratogyrus, Brachypelma, and not many species in the hobby but I adore Megaphobema.

Caribena - love my versicolor! Psalmopoeus are up there for arboreal, along with Davus for terrestrial...

Theraphosa will always be my favorite genus. Simple but big.

Hahaha definitely a boltier genus, but it's good practice for the reflexes. Good choice! Mine's probably the most reclusive psalmo I have, but a gorgeous spider.

I have a deep love of Poecilotheria but have a MASSIVE soft spot for our homegrown Aphonopelma.

Toss up between Brachypelma and Grammostola. They're all fairly easy to keep, beautiful and quite long-lived.

Nhandu! I love their patterns & colourations and the ones I have are like mini bulldozers with the way they make their burrows

Ephebopus. Anything from Psalmopoeinae and Ornithoctoninae really, but one specifically would have to be skeleton tarantulas.
