I think the harpactira is very underrated genus and most of the species our overlook by the H. pulchripes it definitely is pretty but some of the others like H. cafreriana and H. hamiltoni are equally gorgeous and have a great attitude and on display all the time. So what is your favorite Harptictira?

Ah, a thread I can really participate in. Pulchripes is my favorite species of tarantula period. I do love cafreriana as well. Just such a cool coloration. Another one that I really love is marksi. Mine is such an interesting combination of olive green, black and gold coloration. There is also chrysogaster with its almost blue legs and dark orange abdomen. I also have baviana, dictator and two listed as sp. goldenblack and sp. Silaka.

Yeah I wish they were easier to find for sale
I see them on the classifieds regularly.

I love pulchripes, also have namaquensis and marksi. I really want chrysogaster but those are hard to find and expensive when they're available. Love this genus tho

All Harpactira species are my favorite. Never raised anything outside of H. pulchripes and H. dictator. I still dream of raising a Harpactira gigas.

I would love to find harpactira atra and harpactira guttata, particularly the darker coloration.
