+1 to boehmei. Love those orange legs + carapace!

It's a tough call, because the entire genus is amazing. Just by looks though, I think I'd choose B. auratum. The bright, vivid red on the legs is stunning. An adult female is basically the holy grail of tarantulas in my opinion.

My emilia is my favorite spider in my collection, such a sweetheart. Plus the triangle mask is just boss nova. Klassi is catching up to her though, a total stunner, and my smithi hits food like it thinks it’s a Nhandu, so that’s pretty endearing. Forget it. All of them lol.

Hamorii so far, but I want a klaasi. I have a few others but they're small. I have an adult boehmei and it is not my favorite. It's gorgeous and always out but kicks hair and threat postures more than any other spider I have.

When Tliltocatl schroederi was still Brachypelma schroederi, it was my favorite. :troll:

1] Hamorii
2] Boehmei
3] Albiceps

I love the local folklore about B. albiceps being able to reflect/direct lightning bolts during storms due to its golden carapace.

B. hamorii was my first T and I just love her! 🥰🥰🥰

Well, this is a tough one. Despite that I only own boehmei and hamorii so far, there's no denying that the entire genus is stunning. Ideally, I'd love to own a female of each, but if I'm forced to pick, albiceps, emilia and klaasi are definitely considered. Nothing against baumgarteni, auratum or smithi, but given I have the two above, I'd prefer more visual variety in my Spiders.

Hamorii for classic hobby icon status.
Boehmei for the "Woah, hello there beautiful !" reaction everytime I look at her.
Klaasi for "Holy Grail" award. (For me, personally, there is no other Brachy that I want more than this one)
Emilia because of that mask.
Albiceps because it looks so different from the rest.

But yeah, if I could get all 8, I wouldn't hesitate to leap at the opportunity, space/finances permitting.

Albiceps, this was the exact species that made me want to finally get a T!
Several months of studying beginner genera, several months looking into Brachys.......and B. albiceps was the main stand out for me!

The three that I personally keep. Hamorii, emilia, and boehmei. If I could I'd just have a collection of this genus, they're all beautiful spiders.

I can't decide I like them all D: I got all the ones I wanted except an albiceps.

Every time I look at one of them, they take my breath away.
