Fauna of Cuba

Hey, I'm visiting Cuba in a few weeks, but I'm not having much luck finding any info on the types of animals I can expect to find there. I'm particularly interetsed in herps and arachnids, but any info on any wildlife will be greatly appreciated. I don't want to go on a field trip not having a clue as to what to expect! Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it doesn't seem as though there is a whole lot of harcore mammal action there, if that's what you're into.

You've probably seen this link...
but it seems as though your best bet is for herps and arachnids.

Intesting though, the rock iguana where protected, will reach a length of 5 feet!

Thanks for those links guys, some good stuff there. Yeah, I'll be sure to take plenty of pics, I might even write an account of my finds in the field trip forum.
