I'll be honest I don't normally let them get this big (certainly not as adults anyway)

But when she has such an awesome feeding response it's hard to refuse - I'm surprised to see it take crickets as big as it's own legspan

mine are..

they take the pinkies.. though before they've all dropped eggsacs, they've all refused food, which is slightly odd, but i go with it, since again, we don't know anywhere near everything about these guys :)

Ummmm, when are you going to publish that book of impressive color tarantula photographs? And... will you autograph my copy?

Hehe ;)

I'm slowly adding caresheets to my site under construction - clicking on the images gives you larger quality pictures but be warned they are mostly between 200 and 300k

I can't get my slings really fat like I like em. They eat part of the cricket and just leave the rest. I like having fat slings.

Very nice, ( both the sling and the pics)

I let mine get like that, but then I let them go a week or so without eating. I guess I'm afraid they'll burst if I feed them any more.

They are so beautiful, especially when you have a nice pic of them
:)
