False bottom setup for Crested Geckos?

For those of you who are familiar with the "false bottom setup" mainly used for tropical scorpion enclosures to keep up the humidity, would it work for a crested gecko? I heard that cocoa fibre would be an acceptable substrate for a crested gecko, and the false bottom setup works good with cocoa fibre.

Im not sure, but i read that Cresties prefer to drink the water droplets when you mist the cage. But you can always provide a water bowl.
