Hello,

We just got the exo-terra glow light and an exo-terra sun glow bulb with it. We use it as a heat source for our leopard gecko.(and also to create realistic night and day effects even though it's nocturnal)

I just want to confirm something. Are you supposed to leave the light on for the day and then turn it off at night? We use just the light, no heating pads. So I was just abit concerned if he gets to cold at night or something?

It depends on how cold your place gets at night, especially since Canada isn't know for its mild winters. Chances are you would need another heat source for night, either invest in a heating pad or you'd need another lamp with a red light, ceramic emitter or blue moonglow bulbs for nighttime. Keeping the sun glow bulb on all the time would probably stress your leo.
