Ok, so at around 10 AM (when I got up), I checked my Ts and saw that one of my bigger versicolors was molting. Ok, no surprise there. Been waiting on that one to molt.

Then, while doing a walk-through of the Ts (feeding, cleaning, watering, etc.), I saw that my big H.Gigas had molted! Quite a shocker to me. It got veeery big. Thick, robust back legs and turned from lightish brown to the darkest of browns:D . Looks like it was done molting for sometime (Not pale, already fliiped back over, etc.), so Im placing the TOM(Time of Molt) at around the afternoon.

Theeen, at around 9 PM, one of my 2.5 inch OBT's flipped over and started to molt! :D

So thats one molt in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening! I have never had this many Ts molt in one day...I dont think?

The other 31 Ts were lounging around and munching some mealies.

Pictures will come in a few days. Im waiting untill they start moving around on their own, and harden up a bit.

Just had to share my excitement. But as we all know, the excitement isnt the same unless you see some pictures! So I will work on getting some.

Not sure of the Gigas yet. Im waiting untill it comes out of its burrow beforeI do anything because the way it built its burow, there is a very thin layer of dirt that serves as the door. And if I stick forceps in there, dirt will pile on top of the T.

But I just pulled the OBT's molt and confirmed it female. I bought her along with a sac mate of hers a year ago at around 1/2-3/4 of an inch. They are now both a sexed male and female 2.5 and 3''+ OBT.

Versicolor, no way to sex the molt. Shredded it, like always. And its difficult for me to vent sex avics for some reason.

The H.Gigas most likely shredded its molts abdomen as well. Last molt it shredded it up and sprinkled the pieces all about the surface of its enclosure. Hopefully it can come out tomorrow (which would actually be today now that I think of it) and I can get a good look at the EF to determine sex.
