Yeah this video sums up how I feel about humans most of the time. The only reason we are worth keeping around is that we are also the universes only way of knowing itself (well us and any other intelligent life in the universe.) Assuming there's no god which seems most likely. This is why ignorant scientifically illiterate people with no respect for nature piss me off so much. They are forsaking the knowledge and sense of wonder that is the only thing offsetting our more destructive tendancies.

Also I was thinking this video was off topic but obviously humans are vertebrates so it actually is on topic.

Don't get depressed Naja! The video was awesome but, all you can do is do your part. There is something of a dark movement out there teaching young people to hate themselves for existing. I say, "OK you people, go kill yourselves then ...of course nothing happens, they want to kill YOU instead! Strange that I heard young people would be taught this self-hate kind of thing years ago, ..propaganda to manage waste better. There are problems of course but the planet roars back in ways that are not advertised, esp not shown in this clever vid. I manage my property in a natural way and encourage others to do the same. Others would rather control you than see you do it yourself. I've never watered my yard, I have natural grasses, I encourage people to grow some of their own food, stuff like that. At least I think it helps a little.
