ummmmm, is she supposed to be like that? My female eurycantha calcarata is molting upside down on the bottom on the cage, but I thought that most stick insects find a perch to do that on? It doesn't look like she fell off her perch either, but should I be alarmed by this? I've heard if it happens they can get deformed legs and such and might not be able to climb or eat... If so, how can I help her??? I really don't know...

I think you should just keep an eye on her, and make sure the humidity is high. i'm sure she'll be fine. good luck!

From what I have studied of this particular insect(I have the same), this is normal behavior. I've never actually heard of one that moults while hanging.
As long as she appears healthy/happy, I wouldn't be concerned.
