Eurycantha calcarata strage behaviour!!

i bought a Eurycantha .c and every time i go to pick it up or move its cage it does this funny swaying motion!!! is it mentaly derranged????
If you have a E.calcarata and you does this or doesnt do this could you plz tell me. And if you have any suggestions on why it does this could you plz tell me.

eurycantha calcarata = giant spiny stick insect.

i thogut it might have been a warning this to scare you away from it like "get away or i'll spur you" lol but thats lucky it not!!!
