I only have small dubia roaches atm and want to start my own colony of roaches and was wondering about Eublaberus serranus and how they are compared to the usual dubia roach. I’m just worried about starting a colony of something that my reptiles dont like eating lol. Care isn’t what I’m concerned about i just want other peoples opinions and how their own pets liked them. I read that the nymphs like burrowing and that they take the food under the substrate with them so to have enough substrate for them to burrow and of course food. That and basic care isn’t an issue but is there any kind of “quirk” with this species? Lol. Any tips are appreciated.

Most Eublaberus don't do well with crowding and will happily chew on each other (sp. ivory exempted). Lots of protein is a must and it's recommended you have something the adults can climb onto to get away from the swarms of nymphs.
