So, I love the way this species is going to look when it gets to its full size, unfortunately the only thing i know about this species is. . .well nothing:eek:, hence the post here. I did a few searches and came up w/ not much in the way of helpfulness. If anyone has any tips, experience, genus/sp. info please feel free to fill me in. Anything and everything you know would be most appreciated. Thanks ahead of time:clap: oh and here is a link to another thread i posted w/ the aforementioned sp. in it (the first video)

I got a sling about a month and a half ago, this is what I've found so far. Mine has molted twice and while the growth is noticable its not a fast grower for sure. Mine is a great eater, and seems to have no intrest in burrowing as of yet. I keep half its enclosure dry and half damp. I put a little piece of cork bark in his container and he seems to like to stand on that. He won't be setting any speed records either, lol.

wow so i guess there are a few of us who are pioneers here. . . well then i'll just have to do my best in raising the lil girl!;)

okay here are some observations that i've had since I recieved my sling.
1) seems to be semi arboreal at times
2) very nervous and skittish
3) not very fast as far as i can tell
4) as of now i keep it at 80F and about 50-60% humidity

Obviously just some basic observations and what not, but i'll post more info as i go along. If anyone has anything to add or respectfully critisize please feel free.

My sling seems to hang out on the side of the container all the time, half up it. It also is really skiddish compared to other slings I have (all new world species though, just to compare) and doesn't seem to want to burrow at all. It's a TINY thing right now though.

Wow nice read, mine doesn't seem intrested in a burrow. I was told they only get 5-6 inches this says they get fairly large though. Always cool to read about their natural habitat though. Thanks for this.
That page actually says they reach 13-15cm, so 5-6 inches is about right. Maybe "fairly large" is a more effective way to advertise rather than saying "mid-sized" lol.

I have a 4'' sub adult.

A bit skittish but not fast moving.

Non-webbing, non-digging, non-climbing, but it eats like a horse!

The conditions are 24C, 60% RH and so far so good.

It seems like the other Euathlus I have.....slow!!!!!!!!
