So, I just got a call from my parents (i'm off at school) iforming me that one of my IJ carpet pythons is missing. Dad goes on to inform me that Friday mom thought that there wasnt enough snake in the cage (wtf she didnt check rightthen ill never know) but today they noticed that for sure one is gone. That means its been out at least three or four days.
Now, I'm not terribly worried about it starving, as i'd just given it a HUGE meal. However my house is ancient, and full of holes. However i still dont think theres many spaces for a 5 foot snake to get into the walls.
Having delt with carpet python escapes before I told them to check all the snug corners, closets, in shoes and so forth ,as well as under anything and on top or in any cabinets. How well they followed this advice i'm not sure but they still havent found it. So i just told dad to shut all the doors tonight to see if myabe they'll find it tryto escape in the morning.
Am I missing any tricks here? The large part of our house is air conditioned, so I think the snake would stay away from those....
