escape artest is found

last sunnday my savannah monitor (drako) escaped from his cage...i searched hi and low moving ever thing out of the way even the fridge. he was no where to be found. untill today i was watching tv and he ran across the living room and i chased him down. then the escape arrtest was finally capchured.........i thought for shure he was gone after missing for almost a week....when i fed him he went all savage on the mice, he even got close to biting me that would have sucked........

Well my chameleon was missing for about a day (don't ask me how you lose a cham.) I looked everywhere in the petroom but there really isn't a place for him, hes not like a gecko or snake that can wedge themselves anywhere. And yet he was no were to be seen; I was dumbfounded. So yesterday he was basking out in the open and I put back in his home. ~ Rex

I once lost a leopard gecko and I did not find her for 8 months, at which time she decided to climb in bed with my wife. Although she had lost some weight she was still very healthy.

I lost my small emilia(1/5 of an inch). Somehow she still managed to squirmed from the hole of the film canister. I searched everywhere and thought I lost her til I saw her in the critter keeper of the 2" Rosea! Good thing she wasnt noticed or something, so I got her out ASAP.

i had a hamster that got loose once. she was a pro at escaping, i swear. right up until the day she died of wettail.

they say i'm smart, but i have battles of wit with rodents and spiders. i always win, but still.

Roaches, crickets and locusts used to get out all the time. And ate my houseplants.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE savannah monitors... used to have one. I'm selling my dragon so I can get another. I <3 monitors...
