So this is my first time owning a true spider before. Got this little dude I believe 2 weeks ago it ate a huge meal and didn’t eat after that and it got fat. Earlier I saw it moving and rn it’s not moving at all. Just wanted to know if it’s molting or RIP? I’m being paranoid. I think I might just be paranoid cuz it’s my first time owning one. I just wanna make sure. It’ll crush me heart if it’s dying. The last time I had a loss I sold all my collection of T’s. 🥺

I woke up and still nothing. Did the tiniest spritz on to the moss maybe it is stuck. Still no movement but I will be leaving it see if maybe hopefully. I’m very doubtful. I just don’t see why. Was literally perfectly fine a few hours before that. Was active and all. 💔🥺

Hey, any news on the little guy? I'm very interested in Eresus and Gandanameno species. I saw the cutest adult Gandanameno at an expo in October and idiot that I am, didn't know what I was looking at and didn't buy it.

I've heard that they're supposed to be kept almost bone dry and that they apparently grow like rocks. I've got a friend who has a Gandanameno that she's had for over a year and it's still only 2mm.

Yeah it was bone dry it’s enclosure. That’s what I’m confused. Unfortunately it hasn’t moved so it passed. I just let it be longer hoping maybe it was alive. It’s just bizarre to me. It was webbing it’s been enclosure and before I knew it, it stopped moving. So I let it be thinking it’s gonna molt and nothing. Idk what could have possibly gone wrong. I’m super bummed. It was a pricey little fella and I did my research and all for the same reason. I fed it it had an amazing appetite. It fattened up and then just like that. Dead 😢💔☹

That really sucks. Always the worst when a spider dies and you don't know why.
