Hey guys!

I was wondering if anyone had any experience/ knowledge they could share on E. moravicus sexing at premature stages.

I recently got ahold of 4 slings.
I'm not even sure if its possible but I would like to try :)

(I imagine slings are not possible but if there's any way at later stages, I would love to know)

You'd have to have closer pics and I'd probably wait until they're older. You could try sexing by the molts though. I'm not initially sure what the differences would be, but I'd guess you'd be able to tell something is different and then it can be figured out from there.

You've no chance without a moult later. They look the same up until the males final moult apart from the pedipalps. I had it pointed out to me a male has slightly different peds to a female before he matures.

Nice one! Just the info I was looking for. I had heard that these were very difficult to sex so I wasn't expecting anything easy.
Cheers :)

The picture was more just for show than anything else - they are way too small at the moment (I didn't think they were this tiny when I bought them)

I'll have to wait a while to be able to handle the molts. Even at adult size they are so tiny!

Somewhat unrelated, but I'm curious to know where you got these. Are you outside of the states? Super cool spiders, but I've only ever seen one in person once.

I am in the UK. I have hardly seen these guys either. I've been waiting forever to buy some. I got them from Thespidershop.co.uk - very good seller. I've used them many times.

Nice. Hope they get more of a presence in the hobby some day.
