I remember when I brought up the word “swampland” with talking about this species when I first got into the hobby....

I love them. One of my favourite. Give it a deep moist substrate. I mix peat, soil and lots of oakleafs for substrate. The tarantula digs deep burrows and incoroerate the oakleafs in its burrow. It is fossorial, but often sits in the burrow mouth waiting for prey if it is not overfed

All Ephebopus are great. I keep mine on moist substrate (pure coco coir) in a well ventilated enclosure with plenty of depth. You really only have to worry about the relative humidity inside the actual burrow, so just keep pouring in water every time the top inch or two of substrate dries out. Great eaters, very pretty, very quick, what's not to like! Can't tell if you already have one, but you should post some pictures if you do.

Very nice. Though if it's male (they are sexable at 2" so your seller may already know...) you may not have it around for too long! They mature very quickly. Better get a couple just to be sure!

Deep/moist substrate, hide with a starter burrow, couple of fake plants outside the hide/burrow entrance, leaf litter/moss to incorporate into their web funnels, and a water dish. Basically the same setup as Asian fossorial species.

Be aware they are ridiculously fast.
