hey, i have a p. regius that has refused food for close to two months now. i think she might be in premolt, she seems "itchy" and is starting to lose grip on some of the smooth sides of the enclosure. she's getting skinny though, and it's worrying me quite a bit. is there any way to encourage her if she is in premolt? or a way to know if this is just end of life rather than premolt? i've had her about a year now and she has adult colors, but she's still a little small for an adult female.

How's its liquid intake going? And how is it being delivered? Whats the substraight? Break everything down that you can point out and that will help narrow down and cross of lists.

we think bred but we got her from an exotic pet store so not 100%. i got her as a juvie. liquid intake is good, sometimes she gets a spray of water onto the side of the enclosure and sometimes i offer a moist q-tip. she’s in indirect sunlight most of the day and we keep the house around 70-80f(sometimes down to 60f at night, but not often)

Hmm.. well that's a tough one. My only suggestion would be to keep trying. She will eventually want food or she may have something internally wrong. We just never know. By appearance she looks a little small and after not eating for so long that makes me question. But this is what life is about. How to live.
