So when I got my B.Albo sling, they sent me a B.Vagans as well as a freebie. I wasn't really prepared for that, so I set up their home the best I could with what I had. which ended up being a tubbaware dish. Now, I planned to put them in a very long (so they can burrow if they want) and round enclosure like my B.Albo is in, but honestly they seem completely fine as they are. They made a little den of sorts (wouldn't call it a burrow, even though they could burrow deeper). So I was wondering your opinions. This is for a 1/4" sling. Is this enclosure a good size? too big? too small? I just want to make sure I give the best care for the sling until it needs to be rehomed.

My hand for scale.

What do you think?

It may be on the lrge side but it should be fine as long as it can find its feeders. I'm guessing you will be offering prekilled prey anyway which means there shouldnt be an issue

yep! I'm feeding my slings prekilled and cut up mealworms. One mealworm has its head crushed and is cut into thirds and placed near (but not ontop of obviously) the slings and I let them grab it when they want it. (though if it sits for more then 2 days I usually remove it so it doesn't get moldy)

I'm actually surprised its on the big size, I thought if anything it was too small Hm. I could probably find a smaller enclosure, I just figured as long as it can find its food, a bit big is better then a bit small. Thanks for letting me know though!

The spiderling is only 1/4"? Thats tiny. I keep those size in film cannisters.

2x the legspan squared is fine.

2x the legspan in width and 3 in length is ideal.

Ah yeah it's very very tiny. I put them in this because its what I had, should I try finding something smaller? I'll go out and buy a tiny container if I have too, im just not sure whats easily available that I could buy to be honest. But i'll look around if people think it's too big.
