Thanks for sharing the 14-17 year cicada’s never came back were I lived I never seen it happen so they must had died off around my local area !

my daytime highs still get 90°F...night time lows 77°F..this weekend will be first cold nights (well 56°F isn't cold really) will happen soon but daytime highs will still be 77-82°F...Our insect activity never really ceases here...just a few pauses come end of December through February here and there as cold fronts drop in for a week and then leave...I have noticed here that among the dozen or so different species on property, that some of them emerge more "spring time" than others....neat part...good for growing things and keeping things...bad part, mosquitoes all year round.
