I caught a wild emerald jumping spider about a month ago. She just layed a clutch of eggs lastnight I’m not sure if they’re fertile or not however today she left them where she layed them and went inside of a pre bought hammock I purchased awhile ago and is now staying there. This in itself is kind of strange seeing as how she has never showed interest before she’s also acting a little strange all in all she has seemed very comfortable until laying these eggs it’s seeming as tho she’s abandoning them no right after laying just wondering if it’s normal for them to leave eggs unattended I’ve had spiders in the past lay eggs and they have never done that.

I don’t know but it’s webbed down so she probably knows we’re it is, if search 🔍 it .

yea I planned on it I hope the eggs are fertilized. I actually think the mom is dying so that’s probably why. She’s having trouble climbing and is near the bottom of her enclosure I guess she just wanted to lay eggs before she passed I’m so sad. Justb have to wait now I guess
