What ?! Its an Indian!?? Wheres the Afric---just kidding...

Shes adorable. Beautiful. Thank you!! Thats definitly my favorite animal. I prefer the Africans, but Im getting used to the Asians. They have a sweeter temperment and can be domesticated.

Now when I say african elephant, I mean the Savanah elephant, not the smaller, rounder eared Forest elephant.

Ill make this my desk top.

Elephants are sweet. Especially the juveniles. I would love a pot-belly elephant

I was at the zoo again to try for a picture of the elusive Ermia mangshanensis. The below photo is the best I could come up with. He is always hidden away in the back of the cage. The glare on the glass is also very bad. I will keep trying!
While I was there I went ahead and took a picture of that elephant. I couldn't get a clear shot of any of the other elephants. The others were partly obscured by the fence.

OOh, I like the caimen lizard. Very nice. Its ok if the other elephants were hiding, I dont mind. I love Asian and African elephants both!
