Can anyone see if this is a male or a female Leiurus quinquestriatus?

Tail length makes me think male but it's hard to tell without a form of measurement.

In Leiurus adult females tend to be larger than adult males, aside from telson length...females tails tend to be longer, because they are larger. While a mature male in something like Centruroides has obvious sexual dimorphism in metatarsul length, you do not see that in Leiurus.

It is a big specimen indeed! So it must be a female. I have had such a Leiurus female 25 years ago... Very aggressive also!
All in all a great video of a Leiurus species.
BTW I also thought that a male has a longer tail.

You would have to see the underside of the abdomen to tell if it's mailer female and at that point sexing is as easy as seeing the feather like appendages as a short or long short being female and very long being the males
