I've got a Stegodyphus lineatus, which (at least I believe) is a kind of 'velvet spider'. Its size is comparable to a little jumping spider, just with a mega fat booty.

I've noticed it, already for quite a while now, has been carrying around and moving every now and then, something that looks like a sack of webbing.
Could this be an egg sack?

Have you cross referenced your specimen with documented egg sacs of the species?

There's not that much info in general on this species tbh

Anyway, I don't want any babies and if it wasn't an eggsack there's no harm done with removing some webbing.
So I removed it, and opened it up out of curiosity. Looked a lot to me like an eggsack, yellow fluid inside. Some indication of balls inside but all very liquid. Doubt it was a fertilized one if it was actually an eggsack.
Discarded it either way.
