eastern spotted newt eft food?

i was off hunting down some small bull frogs from a local pond to add a lil spice to my Hondurans diet and came across an almost 2 inch eastern spotted newt eft still in "orange mode" now since it was a wild caught i am wondering as to laws concerning keeping it and what should i attempt to feed the lil slimy? :?

virginia i am just asking because it is the first time in years that I've seen one of these fine creatures in the wild as far as feeding goes i have googled the feeding and care i am just wondering if there is anything that is bred as feeders that i can use i mean small earthworms are gonna be a bit hard to find here in the next few weeks

ok look people this is a living animal that i am asking about FOOD SOURCES FOR and so far it seems that instead of suggesting prey items your busy commenting on "dwarf retics" well i guess i will not be having a newt etf as a pet im gonna release it later today so it DOES NOT STARVE i swear you folks confuse me you can gossip about "oh i think you should get this" or "i think you should change the substrate" but when asked about prey items NO ONE SEEMS TO HAVE A CLUE! im leaving this forum soon because of this

Let me get this straight. It's been LESS THAN A DAY since you posted a somewhat tricky question about an animal not (to my knowledge) commonly kept in captivity, and you're throwing tantrums and insulting people posting in other threads and threatening to leave the forums?

and you shouldnt feed your t wild caught bull frogs anyway

they might spray for mosquitoes and it can get absorbed into a bullfrogs skin easily

if this is a Q&A style board in which it is,then why would you get mad about ANYTHING i could say? newts happen to be very common amphibian pets in stores right up there with frogs and mudpuppys so excuse me shroomhead just making a point not "throwing a tantrum" shroom i bet your the type that goes on yahoo and talks down to any and all who have the balls to call out those who claim to know anything more than joe shmoe now as far as i have seen an animal that is not even in a tank yet has less priority than one that is already in captivity
