Alaus oculatus / Eastern Eyed Click Beetle - Found in Hardwood Forests / Rotting Logs of North America.
Is able to Flip Itself away from Danger, thus producing a 'Click' sound while doing so.
Most of their Life (A Few Years) spent in Larval Form as a 'Wireworm'
Adult Form only lasting the Few Weeks it takes to Mate and Lay Eggs.
