That was fast! I'll keep you posted. I'm waiting until August for shipping since I'm out of town a bit this month and I want to make sure I have everything set up correctly. I imagine I can just send the sling off in the packaging she comes in. I don't know. I'll message you about it when I know more!
Hopefully, @MrDeranged will have my issue fixed by then. Otherwise we will go through an intermediate person temporarily to exchange emails etc. Perhaps she can ship it directly to me..

I have another Chilean Federal official I intend to contact to get more details as it's that person's division.
If you have the chance to go down there (I assume you visited Chile) drink a 'El Capitan' for me my man, I have nostalgia :-s

I do have the chance to go, just not yet. Almost went a couple years ago.

HI there- oh local might be easier so the sling doesn't have to do 2 trips, if you can pick up in person that would be sweet. My office is north of Seattle and that's where they'll get shipped. I'll get more info from Anastasia, but the website says she'll be shipped with one of her own slings, so it will be a E sp red also.
Great that will work fine i will send you a pm

@spidertherapy78 have you changed your mind perhaps, and will give the sling to someone who replied later than myself? Just need a confirmation.
Hey there, I tried to PM you but it says your inbox is full. I'm waiting to get some information from the seller about the sling. I believe a local pickup would work better so I don't have to ship. Apologies for being unclear/confusing/ and quickly responding without checking things out a bit more.

Yes, it was a rather odd sequence of events. I've never had someone do that before, first time for everything. Good luck w/your Ts.

Thank you, and apologies again. My hands were typing before my brain was thinking much. Like I said, I'm not even sure what the details are with the shipment so I totally jumped ahead there. I certainly won't be flaky like that again, not a way I like to conduct myself and I value the people on this board so I don't want to be rude or disrespectful. I need more info to know what's next. I was so stoked about ordering my new T... And scared about the possibility of having a tiny sling!

I JUST ORDERED ONE! I'm so excited. I got an female at Net-bugs for a pretty penny but I've had my heart set on an adult female and figured I'd jump on it since this species is so hard to find and sounds perfect for what I'm looking for. So many of you have highly recommended them! According to the website, she will come with a sling. I have to be honest, I already have a juvenile (A. anax) and don't want to raise a sling and worry about my ability to do so, plus I don't really want to cut the heads of crickets. Should I just do it, or does someone want the sling?
Congrats! Excited for you! :)

Baring it being a species that is too advanced for you I think you should just do it. You'll never get better at raising slings unless you get one and try. Here you have a free one and a great place to get advice on raising it. If it were me I'd go for it.

Which was another reason for me to get it.
I don't mind the tiny size and slow growth. My GBB do the growing fast-thing, and my L.parahybana the growing large. :p
My Eauthlus sp Red sling is just 0.6 cm or so but very curious and always exploring. Has quite an appetite though. He ate a dead cricket that was always as big as itself. He pranced around with it all evening and ate it all. I hope its a female but it'll take years to find out.

Aww, wish I had the E. sp. red sling that I ordered even before the adult pair I got. Alas, it was my one and only DOA. :(

Aww.that's tough...but I'm sure you'll be able to get another relatively soon, with the increased demand and breeding coming up.
