Hi guys,

Finally some pictures from my side:
First are some Ephebopus cyanognathus shots. This one wasn't very happy to get photographed, as you will see here.

And even some droplets of poison...

And here's the beast in all its glory

And last but certainly not least, the front leg of a mature male Cyclosternum fasciatum. It was the first time I noticed those 'spikes' on the legs :).

Hope you liked them.

wow, these are some of the best close ups i've seen... someday i'd love to get one in a scanning electron microscope
(after its lived out its natural life of course)
I love the drippy venom, ephebopus sp. are high on my list of favorites for beauty

Nice close up of the spikes on the legs. You do know that that Tiger Rump is a matured male right?

Thanks guys, and yes, I already stated that it was a mature male :).

The camera I'm using is a Fujifilm finepix S5500 (S5100 in the US) with an added Raynox DCR250 macro converter, sure gives you great shots, but it takes a long while before you get used to take pictures with it, and I still have a long way to go :).

Cool, thanks for the info, the DCR250 is an interesting little bit of kit :)

I'm pretty sure you can now find E. cyanognathus slings around 55USD at a few places
www.southernspiderworks.com for one.

@ Dennis - congratulations for this great pictures

55USD - More stately price !
I have bought my slings for 22€, but today the price is about 8-12€ per Sling.

Best greetings
Thomas

I've got mine for 11 euro each. Too bad about 70% of the spiderlings have died, as I found them a hard species to raise... But fortunately some have survived :).
