My Brazilian lady just had a very nice shed this week, so I took some pictures showing off her iridescence. (Sorry her head isn't visible in these....she just ate a guinea pig and I didn't want to bother her too much)
So Shiny.....^_^
Here's some pics of her chowing her first F/T rat, plus a few miscellaneous pics...
As you can see in the last pic, she was on the thin side when I got her.
Her name is Evelyn Eve, and I got her from a man who used to come in to the store I work at frequently. He was always telling me that she had a really persistent respiratory problem, and he spent thousande of dollars over th elast six years on antibiotics. When he finally ran out of money and gave her to me, I went over to his house to find.....a completely dry setup!!
She was wheezy and spitting up mucus when I brought her home, so I immediately put her on bed-a-beast, covered 90% of the tank top in plexiglass, got a fogger going, and put a heat lamp on her. Wouldn't you know...within four days her respiratory cleared up completely and she's been in great health ever since!!
Not only that....she was a fussy eater for her old owner and she has never refused a meal from me. Even switching suddenly from live to F/T wasn't a problem. I'm so in love with this snake....![Wicked grin {D {D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
