Some of my nymphs have died for no obvious reason. i saw one on his back but still slowly moving, so i figured maybe he was hungry. i put him on an orange slice and he ate like no tomorrow. maybe some have died of dehydration because they don't eat? I put an entire buffet out for them, but maybe they're just kinda dumb? I've got orange, green bean, pea, carrot, lima bean, corn, and pecan pieces in there. :? Any ideas?

I lost a few adults to that. I figured it was because of the temperature. UI can't offer you any advice, but mine stopped dying after awhile so I don't know if it's dietary. Now I just discovered a female with a leg missing so I'm gonna add protien this week.

Nymphs are VERY hardy and less likely to die from dehydration, poor diet, etc. than adults are. When I've found hisser nymphs dead, it's because they flipped over on their backs and couldn't right themselves. It's usually only a problem if you're not using any substrate.

really? wouldn't have guessed that... i'm not using any substrate, i thought it would just make it smell more and hide nymphs where I couldn't fine them. interesting.
