I am relatively new to keeping T's. This may be a dumb question, but I would rather ask than assume:
For terrestrial T's, does their abdomen shrink in size over time if 1) they do not eat and 2) are keeping well hydrated?
I have a 4.5in B. hamorii that has not eaten since January, but has a good sized abdomen. I know that is normal. She always has access to water. If she continues to refuse food, but stays hydrated by drinking water will her abdomen naturally shrink a bit in size? What can I expect in regards to size change if she refuses food for lets say... a few more months? Do they generally retain size/mass until the next molt?
(This all assumes a molt does not happen, which I know will result in a size difference.)
