I bought complete Non Gmo Chick starter food ,its fortified with vitamins , minerals and probiotics would it be ok to feed my Dubia roaches IMG_0762.jpeg

i go to tsc or tractor supply an get 50 pound bag unmedicated chicken feed for 15 to 18 $ works perfect an last forever . they seem to eat it better if you crush or grind more .

This bag should last me quite a long time I hope, Ive only got couple dozen roaches now, but if I get more I will look into getting the 50lb bag

I was going to mention the farm store as well but they got to it. Like you I started off with a few dubia roaches but it ramps up fast. Think of it for the future. :) Just make sure it's the non medicated kind. I saw someone introduce a medicated one that was apparently treated with some type of natural pesticide and wiped out their colony. Usually, cheaper the better when looking at the big bags as they don't use as many chemicals. But don't 100% trust everything. Even the non-GMO stuff can be treated "naturally" with something that kills bugs. Happy keeping.
