Saw these at a show and had to get some. :D

Anyone know if this is a subspecies of T.Petiveriana or just a pattern mutation, I was told that it the young do not revert back to the usual spots even after several generations.

It's the first time I've tried to upload a pic hope it works

If you thought that one is pretty take a look at thease. :D My favourites L.subcinta
I'm hoping it dose culture true but at the moment I'm not having much luck on the breeding front, I don't know if you noticed in the photo there's a dried ootheca hanging out of the rear end of the roach. :(

very cool

All my adults have perfect dots, but that one looks pretty cool. Just starting seeing my first hormetica molting and should have about 80 adults going soon. They are both very awesome roaches.

That is a different animal and all your adults will look like that but nobody I've spoken to knows if it's a subspecies or color variety or different species. Don't put them with the normal ones because if they are very closely related...
That is an egg laying, not live bearing, species.

That's interesting, the guy I bought them off of told me he keeps his fairly dry! I'll hopefully be seeing him at a trade show in a month or so, I'll quiz him about it, prehaps that's why mine arn't breeding (although the normal spotted ones, kept the same, seem to be at it like rabbits :D )
