My domino roach carried an egg case outside her body for a couple of days. Is this normal? Should I put it in a separate habitat? The three adults are on last year's mixed hardwood leaf litter with a lid of water gel. I keep them pretty dry. Should I mist them?
This is my first post,
Thank you,

First:
Yes this is normal. She may carry it outwards for a few hours or a few days and then drop it in the enclosure at an unspecified location. Leave it alone. If your adults are healthy and doing well, then several months later you will have nymphs hatch out and do well also. The egg case (called an ootheca) requires the same living conditions as the adults. It is very easily damaged by human touch, so its best to not touch it.

Also, you might consider using the search function at the top of the screen on these boards. It will give you the option of looking for individual posts or whole threads on the topic of 'domino roach' that will provide you with some information and perspective that may be helpful.

Additionally, you can go to: http://www.roachforum.com/

Hope this helps.
