Does jumping spiders require a water dish?

There seems to be some conflicting information on the subject. Some say to include a waterdish, others say that regular misting of the walls is sufficient. Just got a pair of P. Regius, absolutely gorgeous spiders.

Phidippus get water in various ways.

They drink nectar and eat the pollen that collects on their bristly legs.

They're even known to bite at leaves for moisture.

They'll drink from a cap. I prefer that over misting, it makes cleanup easier.

Use a hide! That way they make their retreat in the hide and not on the lid.
