Does anyone know what kind of spider this is?

.. I found it in my garage when I was doing laundry. I looked up and it was just hanging there on a string of web. I don't know a thing about spiders, but it was in my home, so I'm just curious.. The picture quality didn't come out good at all.. but if anyone knows..

Not sure of the exact species but it is a member of the Salticidae (sp?). A jumping spider.

Definitely a jumping spider...a male Phidipus whitmani possibly? Looks like Phidippus genus at least...

I love spiders like that. Jumping spiders are my favorite true spider I think. Too bad the ones I run across here where I live now are always just dull brown with very minimal patterning.
