do vinegaroons fluoresce like scorps?

I've tried it and unfortunately, they don't fluoresce.
one thing to consider

scorps don't flouresce under all bandwidths of UV light... so there is a tiny possiblity that goons *do* flouresce, but not in the same part of the spectrum as scorps

True, i remember smeone saying Chaerilus didn't fluoress but it was just a different bandwidth they reacted to. I personally still dubt vinergaroons do thugh

i tested my blacklight on some solipugids last night, they did not light up one bit

Did you use a Tube UV or an LED UV? The LED give off a lot of white light. They don't work as well as the tube version. In Senegal I found several solpugids with an led light, but many more with a tube version.

nope, its a tube. good one too, ive got a portable generator for using it in the feild. but sadly, it doesn't work on the windscorps. just the scorpscorps

Unfortunately I let a soli go about a week or two ago. I would have tried it. So far I've noticed my blb tube pics up some crab spiders, some grasshoppers and very noticably Sphinx moth caterpillars.
