I have fed both during the day and at night.
I have not noticed any difference.
If they are hungry, they snap it up, if not, they run back down.

Tarantulas are active at night, so I would say yes, but in my experience, most of them will eat even if it is in the daytime

Let's take for exemple my Chilobrachys Dyscolus. She always blocks her borrow during the day until 9 O'Clock, where she removes the web and wait at the entrance of her borrow to catch a prey. She does this daily, I find this behavior quite interresting and unique.
I also have a Chilobrachys Fimbriatus, which is always active and ready to eat, I cant feed it during the daytime without any problem.

My curly hair is alot more active at night like;

Burrowing
Moving stuff around
Walking about

But in the day time he seems to eat better, but stay still for longer periods of time. :)

I noticed the exact same thing with my Curly-hair yesterday.

i feed whenever is convenient for me :) either the food item disappears by the next day or often the food item sees the burrow as a nice hidey hole. they tend not to come back though

They do more of everything at night. Except nothing that is, they do nothing all day.

They are a bit strange, sometimes they'll do silly things like sit in the corners for ages.. next thing you know, they're sitting in a burrow for days or weeks :)

I don't have any Ts that refuse food during the day but eat at night. As long as the cricket triggers their webbing, they'll come out to eat. That said, sometimes it takes a while during the day, like they're resting and need to be "woken up" by more than normal triggering. But unless they're in premolt, they'll eat whenever I feed 'em.

Oh, one other thing to consider, if the T is alarmed or stressed, the feeding response seems to be dampened. For some species, OWers especially, if I have to open the tank to feed them, my commotion delays their feeding response, sometimes for quite a while. That's why I've gone to feeding holes for most of my Ts.
